Missing airspace in UK database

Thanks for a brilliant app!

I have noticed that some airspace is missing from the UK database.

In all cases this is the Airfield CTR's
EGNT, EGNS and some others do not have their associated CTR, but do have their associated CTA

Why is this and Is there anything that can be done?

Many Thanks

Pete

Try this:

- Download OpenAir UK airspaces http://soaringweb.org/Airspace/UK/WPLTAS250713.txt and copy it to your device
- Open airspace list Menu / Tools and info / Airspaces
- Delete all UK airspaces
- Import downloaded file Menu / Import

OK thanks, tried that, but that has even more missing.

So I think I need to look elsewhere or learn to create my own, any tips?

Many Thanks

Pete

Update: So I've found the syntax for openair, and some other files containing EGNT which I have sucessfully loaded, now just need to adjust for EGNS cordinates!
Is there an easier way?

Look at the user guide - you can create your own airspaces by Google Earth.

Yes, I looked at that in the manual but wasn't sure how to do curves.

Anyway I have found txt files for EGNT & EGNM and updated them, and have now written a file for EGNS, which works!

So I now have these CTR files if anybody wants a copy.

Where does your "import world database" come from?

Thanks for the help & guidance

Pete

There not curves, only short lines :D
Please can you send me your txt EGNT and EGNM to watch it?
My world database comes from several sources, I have several "interned" friends which help me...
