Hi

I was on a commercial flight yesteday and put my phone on mute to not disturb other passengers since it was 2 in the morning local time.

I (and 2 hundred other people) was awakened by FF complaining about GPS signal lost!!!
I then managed to find somewhere an option to shut GPS warning up!
Later on we were all scared again by FF telling us it was passing by OM! WTF!!

How can I COMPLETELY silence FF??
Shouldn't it respect the device's master mute setting?

cheers
bb

If you have Samsung, silent mode not valid for "media". If you use volume buttom on the side, andoid will show volume dialog, tap on the "gear" an you will see completly definition for volume by "type" of sound and you can change. For all apk (music & mp3) too are valid setting "Media".

Petr

"Preferences / Warning and info dialog box /General settings / Play sound" does not mute Outer Mark (and I suspect others) warning.
I did that yesterday and got the second BUZZ as I metioned earlier.

Pavel

I will try your tip. I'll let everyone know.

Cheers

Thanks - you are right, marker beakons are not in the Warning and info dialog box settings. I will add possibility to mute MB too.
