Empty Logbook.db

Hi

Today I tried to export a flight to a KML file and FiF generated an empty file.
Trying to re generate the file, FiF could't find any logs.
Logbook.db is only 88KB.

Searching FiF data ditectory I found a 1.42MB logbook.db.back.
Something tells me all my logs are there.

1) How to recover them?
2) Why did I (or FiF) loose the files?

cheers

bb

Hi,

I do not know what happened at your device.
All logbook files are stored in logbook.db. There is not any other backup.
If you want to create backup, export logbook data using internal format (.gil) or copy logbook.db to save place.

Petr

I can tell you what is hapeing but i cannot tell you why it is happening.

I copied logbook.db.back over logbook.db and erased logbook.db-journal.
My tracks came back.

Now, do this:
1) long tap the problematic track
2) Export
3) Tracks(KML, GPX)
4) chose some name (garbage.kml) and tap SAVE.
5) Return to main page and select to view Logbook again (tools and info -> logbook)
6) ALL tracks are gone and garbage.kml is created with ZERO bytes.

Dont know if this is relevant: datadir is at memory card.
Android is 4.3 (I did not upgraded it to 4.4.something)
The problems is repeatable. I did it twice.

I can send you my logbook.db (where ?)

Cheers
