Fly is Fun continues to amaze me... It's a great app!!! Thanks very much.

Recently (haven't tried again for a couple weeks), I have been encountering something like "Error creating file" when updating downloads for airspace when the GPS ILS folder is on the SD card.

I'm quite certain downloading to the SD location worked in the past. Have you seen this before? Has something changed in this area?

Now I'm getting "opening map error" on device memory and sd card.
Have i done something wrong?

Hi,
there was not changes. If you updated your device to Android 4.4 and your data are stored on SD card - this is the reason.

That's it! I have android 4.4.2.
When I move files back to the device from the SD card, errors result too.
What do you recommend? go back to using device for memory and re-download data?

Disregard.... I just found the post on the forum about "problem with ext. sd since kitkat update".
I'll have to decide whether I root my Samsung S3 or not.
