FLY is FUN

My Android Notebook is getting short of memory and should need to store Fly is Fun on the SD card, like one can do with other apps!

Is it possible to store the program or maps on the SD card?

Yes, you can select a SDcard location :
Menu/Application settings/Preferences/Data management/Data location/

Very good, everything disapeared, maps, airports and logbook!

How to get it back?

When starting the program, navdata base,maps and terrain data was not found!

Navigation database was downloaded, but maps did not have space for downloading!

Why did not storing on the 64 GB SD card work?

If you switch to CD card, your data will remain on device memory, but the are invisible for FIF. If you switch back to device memory you will see them again.

FIF cannot work with device memory and SD card together.

Will you make it possible for FIF to use CD card soon?

CD card can be 64 GB and more , but internal memory only 16 GB!

If navigational data, maps and terrain were on the CD card , the internal memory space should be ok!

I am using FIF on the SD card; I selected the proposed path to the SD card (Android/... folder).
Maybe I also copied manually my files from the original location to the new one, I am not sure.
My card is also a 64GB (class 10, U3) and I am using Android 7.0 on a MiMax with MIUI Global 9.6 stable.

Strangely, what does not work is to export or create a file from FIF to the SD card folder.
To workaround, I have created a top level FlyIsFun folder on my internal memory and I always export routes, logs, etc, to that one.
A bit tedious because the FIF folder on SD is always proposed by default and I have to reselect the folder every time I export something.
It would be nice that FIF remembers where the last export has been done.
