Route export in Excel

I appreciate very much this XLS route export feature and I am adapting my personal logbook (used with Navigation/FouFou on Windows PC) to FlyIsFun.

I tried to attach an example, but the xls extension is not allowed so I just attached a screen snapshot.
How can I share my xls log on this forum?

A problem is that some cells are not populated in the route part of the raw_data sheet (starting at row 63):
- column F not populated even if the Wpt has a description in the Nav database
- columns S, W, X: not populated with Time over WPT, Wind Direction, Wind Speed

Maybe I missed something that I should do to get them populated?

For the elevation items, I remarked that you need to edit the route and tap the "mountain" button to get them calculated:
- columns T, U, V: leg Elev, leg Obst, max leg Elev/Obst

I also have a suggestion:
- currently, column O,P,Q: not populated if the point is of the same type (APT, NDB, VOR)
=> in such case, I propose to provide a bearing to the next nearest point of the same type.

Hi Roger

For most of your remarks, only Petr could provide answers

To share an excel document, best way is to zip it

excel templates are in > General information and download > Templates

If you prepare a flight with Navigation Foufou, and export it to FiF, altitude elevation and wind will be populated, thanks to Francois

Have nice and safe flights

Thank you Tonio for the hint.

With an import from Navigation, you indeed get the wind, but unfortunately, FIF does not merge Navigation data with its own database.
As a results, the following columns are not populated:
- Detail
- Notes
- ICAO
- Main VHF and all other VHF fields

Hi Roger

You are right, importing from Navigation Foufou into FIF we get Wind and elevations (min and targeted) and miss Airports info
This, as you know, is due to the fact Navigation Foufou and FIF doesn't use the same base as main source
It seem, that in Europe, administrations are not really willing to provide free public access to developers of moving maps, even if those data are key for our security
This force developers to rely on different sources
But you know much more than me on this issue

Have nice and safe flights

Sorry Tonio, but this is not really linked to the different data sources.

For an airfield, the name provided by FouFou is in most of the cases the ICAO cide of the airfield.
FIF should be able to complement the missing data for the airfield using its own database.
