Hello

First of all - I use FiF and I am really happy. I want to share my opinion regarding FIS boundaries.... I think they would be very usefull. Is there any option to add them or can I expect some upgrades in this field? I use polish airspaces. Best regards and happy landings!

Hi, I have FIS data but there are not displayed.
I worked on another project last months. I am going to work on FIF from the half of October again. So maybe :-)

bringing up this topic again.

This weekend I was flying on a long range flight using th eprecious help of FIF. suddenly the ATC asked me for an estimate to the current FIR boundaries in order to coordinate with the next controller.

I had no Idea what to tell her! Luckily i had my paper chart with me so i was able to give that astimate (but not sooner than after a 5 min of working in the cockpit), but since from what i understand this data is available in the FIF servers, can it be activated in the menu where we choose wich airspace to show?

it would bring a HUGE help.

hi !

Just an idea:

a long tap on wanted FIR boundary, and then choice "Direct to - NAV1" will say you distance, BRG and Radial (if configured on screen).

If you had a route, you don't lost this route.

After, a short tap on "Tapped position" (right of Track) and "Restore route navigation"

Less than 10s to inform CTRL...

Jean-Pierre.

any chanche to have this function integrated? by reading the previous posts seems you already have the FIS data in your database.

Flying here in itay with a flightplan always requires to know the estimates to the next FIS and at the moment it is a big problem since it's no showned on the map.
