How to edit aircraft in Logbook after flight?

Postby flyyyer » 23 Nov 2017, 20:27

I sometimes forget to alter the, in use, aircraft before flight...... is it possible to edit the aircraft that was used in the Logbook after flight? I can't seem to be able to do it.

Regards

Hi Tonio,

Thanks for the info Page 115 onwards I think. Yes I had looked at it but there is something strange going on I think. I have managed to change a couple of times but I cant seen to find a definitive way to do it.... I go to the particular flight in the logbook and then go to "edit" then to the aircraft (that is wrong) long press....this then gives me a list of the other aircraft I fly. Then select the correct one, then set in use. Back to logbook.
Nothing changes. I have tried all possibilities (edit aircraft , save etc. ) I got it to change twice but however it changed I don't know how it did on that instance.....?

Try it..... if it is simple please could you let me know the keystrokes

Regards

Hi Peter
From the logbook edit the "Log row" you like to modify
Once you are in the "Logbook Row"
Click on "Aircraft" name to open the Aircraft and select the Aircraft you would like to assign
you are then back in the "Logbook Row" and you should see its

then you need to save the modification,
To save the modification click on the green tick, that is on upper right corner, or on the green tick that is at the bottom of the "Logbook Row"
If you close the "Logbook Row", using the return key or the red cross, the modification won't be saved

Does it help

Hi Tonio,

Thanks again. I've no idea why I struggled to get this to work first time. Maybe I had continually overcomplicated it by doing a long press to await the green button to select.
A short press on the aircraft and it then correctly selected the aircraft and went back to the logbook as the now required aircraft...... Simple.....
It kept me "amused" for ages..... thank you for your time..... great forum , great program.
